One percent for the planet
There's something happening every week in and around the Aggtelek National Park and blissfully quiet roads and trails to take you there.

"We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves discovering the butterflies, birds and botany of this beautiful corner of Hungary, a reminder of how the countryside used to be."
Ann and Steve Brookes, St Albans, UK

As well as the park's programme of events throughout the year (see below), we can suggest activities for walkers and cyclists.

All guests receive a 1:50,000 map of the area.

Walkers with children
can enjoy several signposted 'study trails' (duration 50 minutes and up). Longer distance circular walks (20km and up) are also on the doorstep (guidebook provided).

For cyclists,
bikes, tandems and child seats
can be hired. We have mapped routes from 30 to 200km for road riders and mountain bikers.

We can arrange visits to  World Heritage caves, local vineyards, thermal baths and other nearby attractions.

We also arrange transfers to and from our guesthouse, where you can pick up your key, unpack, and enjoy a relaxing and fulfilling break in unspoilt countryside.

“Hospitality is first class and the facilities here are great. The butterfly and bird life is superb, and there are just too many walks to fit in.”
Monte and Margaret, Scotland
