Most of the food we provide is produced locally. Your complimentary hamper will include fresh milk, bread, cheese, honey and other produce that is in season.
We can also supply locally reared meat, game such as wild boar and venison and Hungarian wines such as Tokaj and Kékfrankos.
Alternatively you can order home-cooked meals, choosing from such Hungarian classics as stuffed paprika, goulash or even pork cutlets and chips.
“Eating venison stew from the cauldron on the camp fire was a lovely way to end our stay.”

Clockwise from top: Grilled and smoked pike-perch are caught and sold on the banks of the Danube; up with the sun in winter to butcher pigs on an organic smallholding; freshly baked cakes and coffee - a Hungarian speciality for any time of the day; paprika, a seasoning for many dishes here, is hung outside to dry
